New to Good Reads

I am an avid reader and writer, and I am new to goodreads. I've been excited by all the great recommendations! I am an art historian and disability studies scholar, and I recently published a memoir about an accident that occurred in 2007, which resulted in traumatic brain injury. I write about my experiences and recovery through my perspective as a congenitally, physically disabled woman, scholar, and artist. Art therapy greatly fostered my recovery, and my book discusses art therapy and also shows examples of my artwork. I most recently read Alan Cumming's "You Gotta Get Bigger Dreams: My Life in Stories and Pictures." It was entertaining - I liked his stories and pictures! I have read and enjoyed many of Gloria Steinem's books, and I am looking forward to reading "My Life on the Road."
